There are many different types of PRC property that undergo different repair schemes, these are generally the removal of all the external concrete elements, which are then replaced with traditional insulation blocks and brick although some repairs schemes also require the removal of internal concrete elements. These repair schemes were all registered with PRC Homes Ltd and are acceptable to most lenders.

Some PRC properties can be wrapped with insulation and given a brick skin to protect the concrete from the rainwater thus helping the concrete to remain dry and prolong the life of the property. If the property has already started to deteriorate, it may then be necessary to replace some of the concrete with traditional materials before the brick skin is erected.

These properties are most likely to be Reema, Wates and Myton. In order to further lengthen the life of these properties, the concrete is treated.
